Southern N Scale Model Railway Club Inc. (SNSMRC) came about because we saw a need for a model railway club in the southern area of Adelaide, South Australia, which caters for N Scale modellers.

Our club is dedicated to N Scale railway modelling and represents all facets of the model railroading hobby.

The club was formed in April 2022 with 11 members, and has grown steadily since then.
We cover all aspects of model railroading, from building layouts; scratch building models and structures; scenery; electrical applications; and running trains, 3D printing, computer control.

The objects of the club are to promote N Scale model railroading and encourage members to learn new skills and exchange ideas, and promote the hobby throughout the community. We aim to provide instruction and assistance in all aspects of model railroading to fellow hobbyists and interested people.

We are not ‘rivet counters’, nor do we model specific railroads, countries, or time periods.

We do like to be sociable, keep active, learn new skills, show our hobby through exhibitions and community displays, and have fun.

We meet once a month for workshops and clinics, running trains, skills upgrading, and sharing ideas.

Everyone – men, women, boys, girls – are welcome to come along have a look and find out how they can fit into the hobby.
